My first iPad

I recently purchased an Apple iPad, and I have been exploring the many apps available. I want to make the most use of my iPad, so I am exploring ways of using it for work and play. I bought the most basic version, with only 16GB of space, which is proving manageable, although in an ideal world, more memory would be great. However, with 16GB of space, I have managed to download more than 60 free apps ranging from note-taking to clinical databases to storage to education to social software to quilting to geocaching to travel to photography to music to radio stations from around the world. There are so many apps available, and often there are equivalents in Google Play for Android tablets. I am going to use this blog to tell you which apps I download, and how I use them for work and play. I do not have an Android tablet, but if you would like to recommend similar apps for Android systems, then please do so using the comments button.
